Ginger: “Oh my God! Dash, tell him about the letter! Oh my God! What have we done?
Dash: “Just be quiet about the letter.”
Cracker: Mr. Salte? Ginger seems to think you have something to say
Dash: Well, um, about a month ago I found a letter in my mailbox which said that…that Brother Dominic was a fake. That he wasn’t a man of the cloth at all. That his real name was Rick Cotta and that he was wanted for murder. Along with the letter was a copy of that same newspaper article from the Sioux City Tribune.
Cracker: Was the letter signed?
Dash: No
Was the letter handwritten or typed?
Dash: It was handwritten, and, well, the handwriting looked a lot like Mr. Musterd’s
Cracker: I see. Mr. Salte, did you do anything about the letter?
Dash: No
Cracker: Mr. Salte, do you agree with the story Hedda has just told us?
Dash: Yes
Cracker: And you had told Mrs. Tyme of the change?
Dash: Yes
Cracker: What did she say to that?
Dash: She promised she would keep quiet, but for $100,000
Cracker: Extortion?
Salte: Um, yes
Cracker: And what did you tell her?
Dash: I told her we’d get her the money.
Cracker: How did you plan on doing that?
Dash: I, um, told her that I would, um, steal it from the money which the viewers had sent in for the monthly plea from Brother Dominic
Cracker: can you confirm that it was in Brother Dominic’s handwriting
Dash: Yes, and there’s something else
Cracker: Yes?
Dash: Well, when I found Mrs. Tyme’s body in the dressing room, she was clutching this.
Cracker: What is it Mr. Salte?
Dash: It’s a crucifix, the kind that hangs from the end of a rosary. I happened to notice that Brother Dominic’s was missing this evening. When I asked him about it he said he didn’t realize until just before the taping but by that time it was too late to do anything.
Hedda: Yes, it’s Dash’s
Dash: But I didn’t write it
Cracker: It seems that no one has written anything tonight, doesn’t it?
Dash: I’m telling the truth

Scene 1 Introduction
Dash comes in and tells everyone to enjoy the show and ignore him as he moves through the audience. Welcome the mystery guest but leave their identity a surprise. Introduce Hedda but after she rambles too long, grab the mike and say it is time to begin
Scene 1, Dash and Honey
After we introduce everyone, Dash tells Hedda to get everything ready with Brother D. There is a slight scuffle between Honey and Hedda. Calm Hedda down and tell Honey that the show will be done as usual. Once she asks if it is a wise decision, grab the phone and yell “book or no book, whatever you’re unhappy with, you can take it up with me after tonight’s show. We start taping in one minute with or without you Brother Dominic. Give Honey the phone and says to get Brother D out or he will “live to regret it”
Scene 1, Top of the Chicken Friar taping
Check with Hedda to make sure she is okay and then start counting down from 10 for top of show. Hedda will stop you but reassure her by saying it is under control. Finish the countdown and move out of the way.
Scene 1, Tyme is called
Once nobody responds to the winner being called, call for the tapes to stop rolling and say we will take it back. Once she is called dead, scream for taping to stop.
Scene 3
Musterd will go on stage and talk but get too emotional so you speak. You say that the police have been called and the audience will be told as more information is learned. Say that there have been two items found, a man’s cigarette lighter and a business card containing a family crest, fettuccine, and the family that preys together stays together. Hopefully, these items will help shed light on who committed such acts. Then ask Brother D to give a short eulogy.
Scene 5, Ginger and Dash
Ginger goes over to you upset and asks if you know anything. You deflect. Ginger gets defensive. Say, “stay quiet about our little scheme. Besides, it doesn’t matter now, does it? The reason she was brought here is no longer important in light of the fact that we all stand to benefit if the Ladybird Chicken rep likes what she sees. Smile and put on your best faces.” She deflects again and then you tell her you have waited your whole life for an opportunity like this and I am not letting anyone get in my way. Also to be careful as there is still a murderer in our midst. Walk away like a beast
Scene 6, Dash Case and Honey
Ask Honey if he has seen Case. Go over to Case and ask if there is anything that he can do to help. Then say not to worry about the incident and that it was probably an upset contestant because everyone on the cast loves each other like family. Say how sure you are that your show is the best for the company.
