Epidural hematoma
btwn the bone of the skull and dura mater symptoms severe HA, dizziness, loss of consciousness, inability to move body parts, nausea and vomiting, confusion, pupil of one eye is enlarged
Subdural hematoma
located btwn dura mater and arachnoid mater Symptoms: confused or slurred speech, problem w/ balance or walking, HA, lack of energy or confusion, seizures or loss of consciousness, nausea and vomiting, weakness or numbness, vision probs
Subarachnoid hematoma
located btwn the arachnoid mater and pia mater Symptoms: Very sever, sudden HA that said to have the start of thunderclap, nausea and vomiting, inability to look at bright light, stiff neck, dizziness, confusion, seizure, loss of consciousness
