- Dinner is followed by some sort of entertainment

Every roman man would have clients and patrons and their relationship would be a reciprocal one where they both had responsibilities and duties to help each other.
What was a patrons duties
-Received clients at his house every morning (salutatio) and distribute small gifts of money, food or clothes called a sportula.
-He also offered legal advice and appear in court on their behalf if ever needed.
What was a clients duties
-pay respects at his patrons house every morning (salutatio)
-Accompany their patron in public to raise their patrons status by showing how many clients he had
-obliged to help patron if they were struggling with money
