SPEED BREAKS - CHECK RETRACTED
STABILIZE - RETURN TO NORMAL
“GREEN DOT” - REDUCE THRUST, HDG, FLCH, AP AND ATHR ON.
NORMAL PROCEDURES: POS RATE, 400’ 1000’ CLMB SEQ AFTER T.O. CHECKLIST.

AILERON DISCONNECT HANDLE - PULL (NAP 1-12)
Expect lower roll rates.
Use rudder to control airplane.
Inop: Affected aileron, MFS L3 and R3, AP, another MFS depends on affected side.
REJECTED TAKE OFF (BELOW V1: ENG FAIL, FIRE, WARNING MSSG, A/C NOT FLY SAFE)

Crew comm. - Establish.
Autopilot - On.
Altitude - 10,000/ MEA (FLCH!), {HDG 30 RVSM, SPEED MAX or appropriate.}
Speed brakes - full
Transponder - 7700
ATC - notify.
Cabin altitude - 14500 - Mask deploy override
Reaching 10,000’ ASL or 1000’ above - speed brakes in and speed as required.
Autopilot - Off
Altitude - 10,000/ MEA (FLCH!), {HDG 30 RVSM, SPEED MAX or appropriate.}
A/THR - OFF
Throttles - IDLE
Speed brakes - full (smoothly)
FD - OFF
Pitch - 10 nose down (smoothly)
10 knots before reaching VMO or MMO pitch up to maintain speed or SPEED as required.
To better manage speed and thrust control, use the FLIGHT PATH VECTOR SPEED ERROR TAPE and FPA ACCELERATION POINTER chevron.
Transponder - 7700
ATC - notify.
Cabin altitude - 14500 - Mask deploy override
Reaching 10,000’ ASL or 1000’ above - speed brakes in and speed as required.
JAMMED CONTROL COLUMN - PITCH
ELEVATOR DISCONNECT HANDLE - PULL (NAP 1-11)
Expect lower pitch rates.
Inop: AOA limit and AP.
TCAS?
“Traffic Traffic”
“Climb!” “Climb!” “Descent!” “Vertical speed maintain!”
TA!:
PF: Place hands over yoke and throttles and use VS accordingly (<1500 rpm if within 2000’)
PM: lights, seatbelts on and reduce MFD range.
RA!:
AP, A/THR - OFF
Follow - fly to zone (green)
Thrust as required,
ADVICE ATC! - Miami Dep. SKW1234 TCAS RA!
“CLEAR of CONFLICT”
Return to normal: level off, “NAV or HDG, FLCH, AP and A/THR on.
Advice ATC: Clear of conflict returning to _________ Alt.
PM: monitors altitude and speed and gives call outs if too low or slow.
WINDSHEAR?
THRUST LEVER - MAX
FLIGHT DIRECTOR - FOLLOW
NO CHANGE CONFIG - IN WINDSHEAR CONDITION, TERRAIN CLEARANCE IS ASSURED OR BELOW 1500 FEET.
PM: CALL OUTS!
OUT OF CONDITION - REDUCE THRUST, HDG, FLCH, AP AND ATHR ON
EGPWS!
AP OFF, PITCH - 20 PLI, THRUST - MAX, SPOILERS - RETRACTED, CLIMB > MSA/MORA, CLEAR TERRAIN - RESUME FLIGHT.
Disengage the autopilot
- Simultaneously advance thrust levers to MAX position and set pitch 20° to maintain pitch on PLI, respectingstickshakerandbuffet
- Retract spoilers (when required)
- Maintain present airplane configuration (gear/flaps) until terrain separation is achieved
- Climb to the MSA or MORA
- Clearofterrain,resumelevelflight
- Retract gear and flaps (when required)
- Engage autopilot
- Resume normal speed
