-If A/THR not active: THR LEVERS - Idle
- SPEED Brakes : Full
- ATC - NOTIFY (PM)
- XPDR - 7700 (PM)

Pitch thrust:
BELOW THRUST RED ALT. – 15° / TO/GA
ABOVE THRUST RED ALT. AND BELOW FL100 – 10° /climb
ABOVE THRUST RED ALT. AND ABOVE FL100 – 5° / climb
FLAPS (IF CONF 0-1-2-3) – maintain current conf
FLAPS (IF CONF FULL) – select conf 3 and maintain
SPEED BRAKES- check retracted
L/G – up
*-At or above MSA or Circuit Alt.: Level off for troubleshooting

EGPWS CAUTIONS

During night or IMC:

  • AP – off
  • PITCH – pull up
  • THRUST LEVERS – TO/GA
  • SPEED BRAKES – check retracted
  • BANK – wings level or adjust
  • Config. FLAPS / SLAT / GEAR - Maintain

During day light and VMC, with terrain and obstacles clearly in sight:
-FLIGHT PATH – adjust

SINK RATE:
Above 1.000ft AAL in IMC or above 500ft AAL in VMC:
-FLIGHT PATH – adjust
Below 1.000ft AAL in IMC or below 500ft AAL in VMC:
-GO AROUND – consider

  • DON´T SINK:
    FLIGHT PATH – adjust
  • TOO LOW GEAR / TOO LOW FLAPS:
    GO AROUND – perform

GLIDE SLOPE:
Above 1.000ft AAL in IMC or above 500ft AAL in VMC:
-FLIGHT PATH – adjust
When conditions require a deliberate approach below glide slope:
-G/S MODE – off
Below 1.000ft AAL in IMC or below 500ft AAL in VMC:
-GO AROUND – consider

TCAS WARNING

A

Callout: ¨TCAS BLUE¨

Traffic Advisory (TA) alert:
-TCAS MODE – check armed
- If the A/THR is off:
A/THR – on

Resolution Advisory (RA) alert:

If TCAS flight guidance mode is available:
-TCAS MODE FOLLOWS THE RA ORDERS

If AP off:

  • FD ORDERS – follow
  • VERTICAL SPEED – monitor

If any CLIMB aural alert sounds during the final
approach:
-TCAS MODE ORDERS – monitor / follow
-GO AROUND – consider
-RESPECT STALL, GPWS OR WINDSHEAR WARNING
-ATC – notify

When CLEAR OF CONFLICT aural alerts sounds:

  • AP /FD – monitor / follow
  • ATC – notify
  • LATERAL AND VERTICAL GUIDANCE – adjust
If TCAS flight guidance mode is not available:
Callout: ¨TCAS I have control¨
-AP (IF ENGAGED) – off
-BOTH FD – off
-VERTICAL SPEED – adjust or maintain

If any CLIMB aural alerts sounds during the final
approach:
-GO AROUND – perform
-RESPECT STALL, GPWS OR WINDSHEAR WARNING
-ATC – notify

When CLEAR OF CONFLICT aural alert sounds:

  • ATC – notify
  • LATERAL AND VERTICAL GUIDANCE – adjust
  • AP / FD – as required
  • Speed Adjust/Managed

WINDSHEAR WARNING (REACTIVE WINDSHEAR)

Callout: ¨WINDSHEAR TOGA¨

 At takeoff:
If before V1:
-TAKEOFF – reject
If after V1:
-THR LEVERS – TO/GA
-REACHING VR – rotate
-SRS ORDERS – follow or Pitch 17.5°

Airborne, initial climb or landing:

  • THR LEVERS AT TO/GA – set or confirm
  • AP (IF ENGAGED) – keep on
  • SRS ORDERS – follow
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION (SLAT, FLAPS,
GEAR) UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR
CLOSELY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED
RECOVER SMOOTHLY TO NORMAL CLIMB OUT OF
WINDSHEAR

When Reject T/OFF above 100 kt?

A

Only stop the aircraft in case of:
• Fire or Severe Damage alerts,
• Sudden loss of engine thrust,
• Any failure that can affect the flight capability,
• Any RED ECAM WARNING,
• The following AMBAR ECAM CAUTIONS:
- F/CTL L(R) SIDESTICK FAULT
- ENG 1(2) FAIL
- ENG 1(2) REVERSER FAULT
- ENG 1(2) REVERSE UNLOCKED
- ENG 1(2) THR LEVER FAULT
