Stall Warning

A

Announce ‘Stall, I have control’ (at first indication):
- Autopilot - Off
- Auto Throttle- Off
- Nose Down Pitch - To reduce AOA
- Bank - Wings level
When all stall indications have ceased:

GPWS

A

Announce: ‘Pull up, TOGA’
- Autopilot - Off
- Aft sidestick; pitch up to soft stop
- Apply MAX thrust (TOGA) AT will disengage until TOGA PB is pushed
- Disregard FDs (FD off on PF side)
- Roll wings level
- Spoilers - Check retracted
- Only if required - move sidestick towards ’hard stop’
- Maintain present configuration
When clear of terrain - slowly decrease pitch attitude and accelerate as required (HDG, Heading SYNC, ALT, AP, AT)

- TOGA - Select
- Thrust levers - advance to MAX
- FD guidance- follow smoothly and precisely
- Spoilers - Check retracted
- Present configuration - Maintain
- Advise ATC - ‘Windshear Escape’
When clear of Windshear:
- FD modes - as required
- Autopilot - as required
- Auto throttle - as required
- Landing Gear - UP if required

Q

Unreliable Speed

A

Indication of unreliable airspeed include:
- Pitch attitude, thrust setting or external noise not consistent with indicated airspeed.
- Significant differences shown between PFDs and/or ISI.
- Loss of multiple airspeed indications
- FLT CTRL DIRECT ADS cautions shown

Announce ‘Unreliable Speed’
- Autopilot- Off
- Auto throttle - Off
- FD - Off on PF side

If below safe altitude (max climb)
- Pitch - 12.5 degrees nose up
- Thrust levers - Advance to MAX (TOGA)
- Slats/Flap configuration - Maintain
- Spoiler - Check retracted
- Landing Gear - UP

When at a safe altitude (climb)
- Thrust levers - Set CLM thrust
- Pitch - 10 degrees nose up if below 10000’
- Pitch - 5 degrees nose up if above 10000’
- Flaps - Retract in stages
- Aural Warn - INHIB, if required
- Reversion switch panel L or R PFD - review available ADS sources

Additional notes:
- Consider airspeed unreliable until at least 2 ADS sources agree; and have been cross-checked with N1/thrust data
- Stick shaker may be unreliable
- FPV and FD should be considered unreliable until confirmed otherwise
Check all available data sources, including :
- FMS, POS - GNSS ground speed
- FMS, POS - GNSS information or Attitude
- Acceleration cue (if available)
- wind vector may be unreliable

If situation resolved: HDG, Heading SYNC, ALT, AP and AT

ILS PRM Breakout

A

PF - Announce ’Breaking L/R Climbing/Descending’
PF - Disconnect AP
PF - request- FD Off. PM action
PM action - Set HDG/Set ALT on FCP to ATC assigned HDG/ALT
PF to request - HDG….FLC (on FCP). PM to action

Climbing breakout - Conduct normal go around procedure
- Gear and flaps retract
- PF - Set AP ON
- PF - Read FMA

Descending Breakout - Leave configuration until cleared to climb/AP on when on assigned HDG
- When cleared to climb - Set ALT then FLC
- Positive climb - Gear and Flaps (as required)
- PF - AP on
- PF - Read FMA

When ACFT clean and at an appropriate time:
