Loss Of Braking:
If no braking
Call “Loss Of Braking”
-REV - MAX(if needed, until full stop)
-Brake Pedals - Release ( avoid full brake)
-A/Skid OFF - Order
-A/skid & N/W strg - OFF
-Brake Pedals - Press
-Max Brake Press - 1000psi
-if Still no Brake
- Park Brake - Use
Emergency Descent:
Call “Emergency Decent”
-Crew Oxy Masks - Use
-Signs - On
- EMER Descent - Initiate
A/THR not active:
- THR Levers - Idle
-If a/the active, check THR Idle on FMA
-Speed BRK - Full
Stall Recovery:
Call “Stall, I have control”
-Nose Down Pitch Controls - Apply
-Bank - Wings Level
When Out Of Stall:
-Thrust - Increase smoothly as needed
-Speedbrakes - Check Retracted
- Flight Path - Recover Smoothly
If in clean configuration and below FL200:
- Flap1 - Select
Stall Warning at Liftoff:
Call “Stall, TOGA 15°”
-Thrust - TOGA
At same time:
- Pitch Attitude - 15°
- Bank - Wings Level
Smoke/ Fumes/ Avionics Smoke
- Crew Oxy Masks - Use/ 100% / Emerg
EGPWS Warnings:
“Pull Up - Terrain Ahead - Obstacle Ahead Pull Up”
Call “Pull Up TOGA”
Simultaneously:
- AP - Off
- Pitch - Pull Up
Pull full back stick and Maintain
- Thrust Levers - TOGA
- Speedbrake lever - Check Retracted
- Bank - Wings Level or Adjust
Do not change configuration until clear of obstacle
TCAS Warning :
Call “TCAS, I have Control”
Resolution Advisory:
- AP (if engaged) - Off
- Both FD’s - Off
- Respond promptly and smoothly. Vertical speed -adjust or maintain
- If flaps 3 or Full - Perform Go-Around
- Notify ATC
-When clear of conflict - Notify ATC
Windshear Warning - Reactive Windshear:
Call “Windshear TOGA”
Before V1:
- Significant variation in windspeed - Reject Takeoff
After V1:
- THR Levers - TOGA
- Reaching VR - Rotate
- SRS Orders - Follow
Airborne, Initial Climb or landing:
- THR Levers at TOGA - Set or Confirm
- AP(if engaged) - Keep On
- SRS Orders - Follow
If no FD pitch 17.5°
- Do Not Change Configuration
- Smoothly Recover to Normal Climb out of Windshear
Unreliable Airspeed Indication:
Call “Unreliable Speed”
If Safe Conduct of flight is Impacted:
- AP - Off
- A/THR - Off
- FD - Off
Pitch/Thrust:
Below Thrust RED Alt - 15°/ TOGA
Above Thrust RED Alt and Below FL 100 - 10°/ CLB.
Above Thrust RED Alt and Above FL 100-
5°/ CLB
FLAPS (if config 0,1,2,3) - Maintain Config
FLAPS (CONFIG Full) - Select Config 3 and Maintain.
Speedbrake - Check Retracted
L/G - UP
When at or above MSA or Circuit Altitude: level off for troubleshooting.
EGPWS Cautions:
“Terrain Terrain” - “ Too low Terrain”
CALL “Pull Up TOGA”
During Night or IMC:
- AP - Off
- Pitch - Pull Up (Full Back and maintain)
- Thr Levers - TOGA
- Spdbrake lever - Check Retracted
- Bank - Wings Level or Adjust
Do not change configuration until clear.
