Stall Recovery
Callout “STALL, I HAVE CONTROL”
Nose pitch down control —— APPLY
Bank —— WINGS LEVEL
When out of stall (stall indications have stopped):
Thrust —— INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
Speedbrakes —— CHECK RETRACTED
Flight path —— RECOVER SMOOTHLY
If in clean config and below 20 000ft:
Flaps1 —— SELECT
Stall warning at liftoff
Callout “STALL, TOGA 15 °” Thrust —— TOGA At the same time: Pitch attitude —— 15 ° Bank —— WINGS LEVEL
Loss of braking
Callout “LOSS OF BRAKING” Reverse —— MAX Brake pedals —— RELEASE A/Skid & N/W steering —— OFF (PF orders PM) Brake pedals —— PRESS max 1000 PSI
If still no braking:
Park brake —— USE
Emer descent
Callout “EMERGENCY DESCENT” Crew ory masks —— USE Signs —— ON Emer descent —— INITIATE If A/THR not active: THR levers —— IDLE SPD BRK —— FULL

Callout “UNRELIABLE SPEED” AP —— OFF A/THR —— OFF FD —— OFF Pitch/Thrust: Below thrust red alt —— 15 °/TOGA Above thrust red alt and below FL100 —— 10 °/CLB Above FL100 —— 5 °/CLB Flaps (if conf 1/2/3) —— MAINTAIN CURRENT CONF Flaps (if conf FULL) —— SELECT CONF 3 AND MAINTAIN SPD BRK —— CHECK RETRACTED L/G —— UP
When at/above MSA / Circuit altitude: Level off for troubleshooting
EGPWS - “TERRAIN TERRAIN”, “TOO LOW TERRAIN”, “TERRAIN AHEAD”, “OBSTACLE AHEAD”
During night or IMC:
Callout “PULL UP TOGA”
AP —— OFF
Pitch —— PULL UP => full backstick and maintain in that position
Thrust levers —— TOGA
SPD BRK —— CHECK RETRACTED
Bank —— WINGS LEVEL or ADJUST (if turn is safest action)
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIG (SLATS/FLAPS/GEAR) UNTIL CLEAR OF OBSTACLE
During daylight and VMC:
Flight path —— ADJUST
EGPWS -“SINK RATE”
Above stabilisation alt (1000’AAL IMC / 500’AAL VMC):
Flight path —— ADJUST
Below stabilisation alt:
Go around —— CONSIDER
EGPWS -“GLIDESLOPE”
Above stabilisation alt (1000’AAL IMC / 500’AAL VMC):
Flight path —— ADJUST
Below stabilisation alt:
Go around —— CONSIDER
When conditions require a deliberate approach below glideslope:
G/S mode —— OFF
EGPWS -“DON’T SINK”
Flight path —— ADJUST
EGPWS -“TOO LOW GEAR”, “TOO LOW FLAPS”
Go around —— PERFORM
EGPWS -“PULL UP”, “TERRAIN AHEAD PULL UP”, “OBSTACLE AHEAD PULL UP”
Callout “PULL UP TOGA”
AP —— OFF
Pitch —— PULL UP => full backstick and maintain in that position
Thrust levers —— TOGA
