Engine Start
Engine switch - Rotate to Run
Booster pump - Confirm running and no Fuel Pressure Low CAS message
Start Button - Push and confirm on PFD
Around 10% N2 - Confirm IGN on and light-off within 12 seconds
N1 - Confirm increasing by 25% N2
Engine parameters - Observe until IDL is reached
Around 50% N2 - Confirm Start and IGN extinguished
Start is considered completed above 53.4% N2
N1 - approx 25%
ITT - approx 400 degrees
N2 - Minimum 53.4%
FF - 160 - 180lb
Oil Pressure - >30psi
Generator - confirm taking over electrical loads
TAT - if <10 degrees IPS to AUTO/NAI
Takeoff Config Advisory
Park Brake - Released
Flaps - Set to 8 or 15 degrees
Trim - Set within Green range
Rudder Lock - Released
EMER Brake pressure - Above 2750psi
Thrust Lever - At MCT for 2 seconds or more
Climb
Positive Climb - Gear Up
YD - On above 50ft (Aircraft with AYT) or minimum 400ft (Aircraft without AYT)
Flaps - Up above 400ft
Thrust - MCT within 5min of setting T/O Thrust, verify on PFD
Engine Fire on Ground/Tail Pipe Fire
Affected Engine:
Thrust Lever - IDLE
Engine Switch - OFF
Engine Isolation push button - Push and confirm Isolated
FIRE XTING - after 5 seconds, confirm green 1 and push
QRH - Follow
Engine Switch - Dry Motor
Engine Start - Press to Motor
Engine Switch - Off when 50 second cycle complete
Engine Fire or Failure During Take-off below V1
Thrust Levers - Idle
Brakes - Maximum or As Required
ATC - Inform Stopping
Engine Fire or Failure During Take-off above V1
Thrust levers - Set ATR and confirm on PFD
Vr - Rotate 9 degrees ANU initially
Airspeed - At or above V2
Positive Climb - Gear Up
Follow QRH
At EFRA - Level off, V2+25kts (min 130) flaps up, accelerate to 170kts enroute climb, set MCT
Engine Fire or Inflight Shutdown Checklist
Rejected Take-off
Thrust Levers - Idle
Brakes - Maximum or As Required
ATC - Inform Stopping
Fire, Smoke or Fumes in Cockpit/Cabin
If at any stage fire, smoke or fumes stop, interrupt procedure and land ASAP!
Crew Mask - Don, Select EMGCY, Vent Valve Open
Smoke Goggles - Don
Passenger Oxygen - On, instruct Pax to don drop down masks
Aircraft - Initiate division, Land ASAP
EMS Oxygen System - Close Cylinders and advise crew
Cabin PWR CB - Pull 0.5A CB (essential bus on cockpit wall)
EMS/AS Bus - Disc/OFF position (Med battery off)
QRH - Follow
Emergency Descent
Crew Oxygen Masks - Don, 100%, Establish Comm
Passenger Oxygen - On, Instruct passengers to don drop down masks
Seat Belts - On
Thrust Levers - Idle
Airbrake Lever - Out
QRH - Follow
All Brakes Fail
Wheel Brakes/Emer Brake - Use if available to stop aircraft
ENG Switches - OFF
QRH - Follow
Cabin Altitude
Crew Oxygen Masks - Don, 100%, Establish Comm
Passenger Oxygen - On, Instruct passengers to don drop down masks
If rapid or explosive decompression:
Seat Belts - On
Thrust Levers - Idle
Airbrake Lever - Out
QRH - Follow
Cabin Pressure (in flight)
Excessive Negative differential pressure:
Aircraft - Reduce descent rate
L or R Engine Fail - in flight
Engine instruments - Monitor / Confirm
QRH - Follow
L or R Eng FIRE
Engine Fire - Confirm L or R
If confirmed:
Thrust Lever - IDLE
Engine Switch - OFF
Engine Isolation push button - Push and confirm Isolated
If CAS message remains:
FIRE XTING - after 5 seconds, confirm green 1 and push
(keep pitch and bank to within 10 degrees for maximum extinguisher effectiveness)
QRH - Follow
Abnormal Disconnect
Control Wheel - Grasp firmly and regain aircraft control
Autopilot Disengage switch - Press to cancel aural warning
Aircraft - Retrim manually
Aircraft - Re-engage Autopilot Once
