Engine Start

A

Engine switch - Rotate to Run
Booster pump - Confirm running and no Fuel Pressure Low CAS message
Start Button - Push and confirm on PFD
Around 10% N2 - Confirm IGN on and light-off within 12 seconds
N1 - Confirm increasing by 25% N2
Engine parameters - Observe until IDL is reached
Around 50% N2 - Confirm Start and IGN extinguished

Start is considered completed above 53.4% N2
N1 - approx 25%
ITT - approx 400 degrees
N2 - Minimum 53.4%
FF - 160 - 180lb
Oil Pressure - >30psi

Generator - confirm taking over electrical loads
TAT - if <10 degrees IPS to AUTO/NAI

A

Park Brake - Released
Flaps - Set to 8 or 15 degrees
Trim - Set within Green range
Rudder Lock - Released
EMER Brake pressure - Above 2750psi
Thrust Lever - At MCT for 2 seconds or more

A

Positive Climb - Gear Up
YD - On above 50ft (Aircraft with AYT) or minimum 400ft (Aircraft without AYT)
Flaps - Up above 400ft

A

Affected Engine:
Thrust Lever - IDLE
Engine Switch - OFF
Engine Isolation push button - Push and confirm Isolated
FIRE XTING - after 5 seconds, confirm green 1 and push

QRH - Follow
Engine Switch - Dry Motor
Engine Start - Press to Motor
Engine Switch - Off when 50 second cycle complete

Fire, Smoke or Fumes in Cockpit/Cabin

A

If at any stage fire, smoke or fumes stop, interrupt procedure and land ASAP!

Crew Mask - Don, Select EMGCY, Vent Valve Open
Smoke Goggles - Don
Passenger Oxygen - On, instruct Pax to don drop down masks
Aircraft - Initiate division, Land ASAP

EMS Oxygen System - Close Cylinders and advise crew
Cabin PWR CB - Pull 0.5A CB (essential bus on cockpit wall)
EMS/AS Bus - Disc/OFF position (Med battery off)
QRH - Follow

Passenger Oxygen - On, Instruct passengers to don drop down masks
Seat Belts - On

(keep pitch and bank to within 10 degrees for maximum extinguisher effectiveness)

Aircraft - Retrim manually

A

Control Wheel - Hold against pusher action
AP Disconnect Button - Press and hold continuously

Aircraft - Observe PFD Stall awareness and low speed indications, inc LSA and DSB
ECB synoptic - Set R AOA Vane Heat to OUT. Expect Pusher Fail CAS
AP Disconnect Button - Release and be prepared to re-press if pusher continues to operate

TCAS Resolution Advisory

A

Autopilot - Disconnect if engaged
Aircraft Attitude - immediately comply with RA commands on PFD
ATC - Inform of “TCAS RA”
Clear of Conflict - Advise ATC “Clear of Conflict, Returning to FL…” and return to cleared level
Maintaining Cleared Level - Advise ATC “Clear of Conflict, FL… Resumed”

Loss of Medical O2 system Ventilator (indicated by main control board)

A

Main Bus Switch - Check engaged
Circuit Breaker - Check engaged

Ventilation fans sill inoperative
EMS Oxygen system - Close cylinder shut-off valves

Dual Engine Failure

A

Avoid Stall - Shaker and Pusher unavailable
With Flaps Up - airspeed 150kts (Safe speed with good glide performance)
