Thin, soft, pliable sheets of tissue that cover and protect internal and external surfaces, line tubes, and anchor structures to each other

A
Composed mainly of epithelial cells but also have an underlying supportive layer of connective tissues

Line the spaces within the dorsal cavity, which contain the brain and spinal cord
