A

Benefits:
- Fast onset to decrease sleep latency
- Long acting to decrease nocturnal awakenings
Risks:
- Rebound insomnia after discont.
- Anterograde Amnesia
- Physical/psychological dependency
- Residual daytime sedation
- Dose related SE greater for females
