King John was treacherous and bad-tempered, quarreling with nobles and raising their taxes until they threatened to rebel. In 1215 he was forced to sign the Magna Carta, which limited royal authority by granting more power to the barons—an early step on the road to democracy.

A war between England and France that lasted more than a century started in 1337 during Edward lll’s reign
What is feudalism
Introduced by William the Conqueror. The king owns all the land, he keeps 1/4 of it and gives 1/4 to the church and the rest to land owners who provide him with protection
Chivalry
A code for knights that involves having honor, integrity, bravery, etc.
