  1. Type 1: Comedonal, with no scarring
  2. Type 2: Papular, mild/minimal scarring
  3. Type 3: Pustualr, moderate scarring
  4. Type 4: Nodulocystic, severe scarring

Treatment

  • Topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide
  • anti-androgens (Spironolacton, anti-contraceptives for women)
  • Oral antibiotics (tetracycline)
