A
Andreas Vesalius (1514-1564) was a Belgian physicians who revolutionised anatomy in his book.
The Fabric of the Human body
He corrected many of Galens errors using human dissection instead of animal studies
Vesalius emphasised scientific observation and direct study, changing the way medicine was taught and practised. Laying foundation for modern anatomy and surgery.
