What is Ziprasidone used for?
Short-term treatment of mania,
Schizophrenia related to psychoses.
What is Quetiapine used for?
Schizophrenia and other psychoses tre2of mania depression in bipolar disorder.
What is the main side affects of Quetiapine?
Depression of the CNS
What is Clozapine used for?
Clozapine is used when patients are unresponsive to/or intolerant of conventional anti psychotic.
What is the usual dose of (1,2,3) paliperidone
palmitate?
The usual dose of paliperidone palmitate is
150mg for the first dose, 100mg for the second
dose a week later, then 50-150mg every month
after that
How is paliperidone palmitate be given?
- The first two injections have to be given in the arm (deltoid muscle)
After that it can be given into one of the muscles
in your arm or in one of your buttocks
How long will I need to keep having
paliperidone palmitate for?
If the patient is having this injection to treat the
symptoms of psychosis or schizophrenia that keep
coming back, then having it for at least 5 years
will much reduce the chances of the symptoms
come back.
Is paliperidone palmitate addictive?
Paliperidone is not addictive
What is risperidone LAI (Long-Acting Injection) used for?

Akathisia,
restlessness
How is risperidone given?
The injection can be given into the muscles either

Risperidone is not addictive

Postural hypotension
Pain where the injection is given
Movement disorders e.g., shaky hands
What is olanzapine pamoate used for?

long-acting injection
- It is mainly used to help treat the symptoms of
schizophrenia
How is olanzapine pamoate given?
It is given by an injection into one of the buttock
