A

Acetylcholine esterase inhibitor used to treat Alzheimer’s dementia.

Common side effect: cardiac side effects (bradycardia, atrioventricular block), gastrointestinal discomfort (diarrhoea and nausea), insomnia

other: fatigue, muscle cramps, vomiting, weight loss
