A
Diuretic acting on the distal tubule and connecting segment.
Sodium chloride carrier inhibition.

What’s the effect of NSAIDS on the kidney?
A
NSAIDs inhibit COX-1 and COX-2 which inhibit the production of prostaglandins.
Prostaglandins cause vasodilation in the afferent arterioles which increases GFR.
As NSAIDS inhibit this they decrease GFR.
