Acute Intermittent Porphyria (AIP):
A
-Unexplained abdominal pain + new-onset neuropsychiatric sx (ie. Neuropathies, anxiety, mood changes, psychosis)
- Acute sx are episodic and can last for weeks
- Onset in 30s-40s usually
- See elevated Urinary Porphobilinogen

Wilson’s disease:
A
- Disorder of copper transport causing copper accumulation in body.
- Causes hepatic, psychiatric and neurologic dysfunction
- Sx: Dysarthria, dystonia, tremor, parkinsonism, copper in cornea (Keyser-Fleisher rings), and depression
