A
The middle number in a set of numbers. If there is an odd amount of numbers in the number set, the median is the one in the middle that has an equal amount of numbers on each side. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the median is 3. If the the set of numbers is even then you add up the two middle numbers and divide by 2. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, the median is 3+4/2 = 3.5
