- mostly celebrity gossip & scandal
- use simpler language , more pictures
Genre conversations of broadsheets ?
GUARDIAN, TIMES, TELEGRAPH
- text led, “quality” newspapers
- higher news content than “red tops” so cost more to buy & lower circulation
-longer sentences & paragraphs than tabloids - articles offer in-depth analysis
