How to determine the reliability of information?
Check:
- Author
- Date of publication or of update
- Citations
- Domain or owner of the page
- Site design and writing style
- Social media and blogs
- Greater freedom to ordinary individuals
- Quicker way of distributing information
Alternative Media
What is the downside to alternative media?
A lot of the information being passed around is biased and inaccurate
