What is self loading?

A

Firearm will reload their own chamber immediately upon firing, all you do is pull the trigger this is by power created from the gases produced by the burning gunpowder or rearward push of the cartridge case (recoil operation)

What is Closed Bolt?

A

The bolt is closed when you pull the trigger

What is cook off?

A

When powder or primer in the cartridge detonate due to heat causing a uncontrolled firing of the whole magazine, cook off can happen at 275-325 degrees

What is Open bolt?

A

The bolt stays to the rear (out of battery) until the trigger is pulled, pulling the trigger releases the bolt, a cartridge is fed, chambered, and fired
