Running a tank on a mechanical mod could result in a dead short and a battery could catch fire. Tanks are not meant to run on mechanical mods.

It has no computer chip to regulate it’s output.
It discharges the full capacity of the battery when under load.
Requires an understanding of the relationships between resistance and amperage to use safely.
