There are two main problems with indicators.
Some countries may appear to be developed according to some indicators but not others – some aspects develop before others.
Up to date information isn’t always available either because a country isn’t able or doesn’t want to provide the information.
What is the main indicator?
GDP per person is often used as the main indicator of development.
