An assembly of listed semi rigid or flexible tubing and fittings to carry fuel between a fuel-piping outlet and a fuel burning appliance
Appliance Fuel Connector
Natural , Manufactured, Liquified, petroleum, or a mixture of these.
Fuel Gas
Any installation of pipe, valves, or fittings that is used to convey fuel gas, installed on any premises or in any building
Gas Piping
Any arrangement of gas piping supplied by one (1) meter, and each arrangement of gas piping serving a building, structure, or premises, whether individually metered or not
Gas Piping System
Means tanks, containers, container valves, regulating equipment, meters; and/or appurtenances for the storage and supply.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG)
The location of the point of delivery shall be acceptable to the serving gas supplier.
Provision for Location of Point of Delivery
A hand operated device that provides a means for connecting and disconnecting an appliances or an appliance connector to a gas supply and that is equipped with an automatic means to shut off the gas supply when the device is disconnected
Quick Disconnect Device
The piping and equipment between the street gas main and the gas piping system inlet that is installed by, and is under the control and maintenance of the serving gas supplier.
Service Piping
Any listed or approved section or sections of pipe and fittings used to convey fuel gas and installed in a gas piping system for the purpose of providing a transition from below ground to above ground.
Transition Gas Riser
A valve to be installed in a gas piping system designed to automatically shut off the gas when a seismic disturbance is detected.

A line gas pressure regulator shall be installed where the gas supply pressure is higher than the gas utilization equipment .
