What is matter?
Matter is anything which occupies space and has mass.
What is matter made up of?
Atoms.
Characteristics of particles of matter?
1] They are very small.
2] They have interparticle spaces between them.
3] Particles of matter are continuously moving.
4] They attract each other.
What is diffusion and what factors affect it?
The intermixing of particles is called diffusion.
1] More temperature increases the kinetic energy
2] Pressure also increases the kinetic energy

Define melting point.
