What is the First Index Law?
When the same base are multiplied by each other, the powers are added together.
What is the Second Index Law?
When the same base are divided by each other the powers are subtracted from each other.
What is the Third Index Law?
Any base to the power of zero is equal to one.
In the Third Index law, if i have any number or coefficient in brackets what is it equal to?

What is 2x to the power of 0 equal to?

What is the Fourth Index law?
Any power raised to another power is Multiplied.
In the Fourth Index law when we are dividing, what happens to the powers?
We multiply them then subtract them.
What is Index Form?
2 to the power of 4
What is a Basic Numeral?
2 to the power of four is equal to = 2x2x2x2 = 16
What is Factor Form?
2x2x2x2
Simplify 7 to the power of 4 x 7 x 7 to the power of 3.
7 to the power of 4 + 1 + 3 = 7 to the power of 8
What happens when a number does not have a power.
We assume it is to the power of 1
