Q

Knowledge on Trigonometric Ratios

A

Ratio of adjacent/hypotenus stays the same in similar triangles. Adjacent is attached to angle X and the hypotenus. Opposite is opposite angle X.

17
Q

SOHCAHTOA

A

S= o/h C=a/h T=o/a - some old horses can always hear their owners approach

18
Q

Q1

A

Q1 is the lower quartile and it is the 25th percentile. N+1/4

19
Q

Q2

A

Q2 is the median or the 50th percentile. n+1/2

20
Q

Q3

A

Q3 is the 75th percentile and is the end of the IQR. 3(n+1/4)

21
Q

IQR

A

The inter quartile range is the Q3-Q1 and it gets a more consistent average that doesn’t include the outliers.

22
Q

Box Plots

A

A graph to compare the average to location (usually the median) or to compare the IQR and consistency
