What is approximate?
Not exact, but close enough to be reasonably correct
What are coins?
Metal currency, as opposed to paper currency = pennies, dimes, nickels, quarters
What is a composite number?
A whole number that has more than two factors.
What does consecutive mean?
What is a decade?
a period of ten years
What is a deposit?
to put money or some other valuable for safekeeping or in trust, especially in a bank account
What is a diagonal?
What is a diagram?
A chart or graph usually used to illustrate a concept or describe the relationship of parts to a whole.
What is the difference?
Answer to a subtraction problem, how far it is between two numbers.
What is a digit?
Any one of these ten symbols, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

What is division?
One of four operations where you cut, share or divide a number or amount into equal amounts.
What is a dollar sign?
a mark ($) written before a number to indicate that it stands for the number of dollars

What is a fact family?
What is Fahrenheit?
Like Celsius, the system we use to measure temperature. A temperature scale with the freezing point of water 32 degrees and the boiling point of 212 degrees

What is fourth?
Number 4 in a line or group.
In fractions, one of our four equal parts - 1/4.
What is fewer?
less or a smaller number of something. The opposite of more.
What is hundredth?
1 out of 100. Also the place to the right of the tenths place.

Equals 1000 grams - a metric unit for mass.

What does measurement mean?
What does miles per hour mean?
How many miles you can go in 1 hour, the rate of speed you move.
