Find the LCM
24
Leave that on the bottom M x 6 = 24? 4 M x 8 = 24? 3
Put on top. Add then simplify
Subtracting
Do the same process as adding
Adding and subtracting mixed numbers
Remain the same process as adding and subtracting normal fractions. Then add or subtract the big numbers and leave it in the front
Adding and subtracting mixed numbers with a bigger numerator than denominator as the answer
Once you’ve solved the problem and you have a bigger numerator you then take that small fraction and split it into two with the numerators being the two numbers that equaled that big one number. Add and simplify that. As for the box number on the left, add one to that for your new final answer
Multiplying fractions
Multiply straight across and simplify
Dividing fractions
Flip the second fraction and change it to multiplication
