Insertion- Lateral clavicle, acromion, spine of scapula

Action- scapular elevation, retraction, depression, rotation

Nerve- Spinal accessory nerve (CN XI - motor) and cervical nerves (C3-C4 - seansory)

A

Origin- T6-T12, thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest, inferior 3-4 ribs

Insertion- bicipital groove of humerus

Action- Shoulder extension, adduction, and
medial rotation

Nerves- Thoracodorsal nerve
