- incisional pain (delayed wound healing)
- muscle guarding & tenderness (shoulder & post cervical musculature)
- surgical drain
- fibrosis of soft tissue in axillary region
- chest wall adhesion
- temporary & permanent weakness of muscle
- rounded shoulder & kyphotic or scoliotic trunk posture
- lymphoedema & heaviness of UE
- decreased use of hand and arm for functional activities
