What is heresy?
Heresy is when someone doesn’t agree with a belief
A belief contrary to orthodox religion.
If you were Protestant and Mary became queen, if you didn’t then say you were a Catholic, she would kill you!
Why were there so many poor people in Tudor England?
No education
Change from crops to sheep farming
Agricultural changes meant many unemployed
People didn’t own land so couldn’t grow crops and had to buy food
Bad harvests
