What does David Harvey theorise?

A

Postmodernity is the most recent stage of capitalism, rather than being a break away from it. The working-class have become less political due to a rise in living standards, have lost power.

Workers now have less job security, working hours more flexible to suit needs of the firm. Moved away from large-scale mass manufacturing where the development of workers’ organisations, like TU was more possible.
