Does MPT Provide Cupping services?
Yes, we do, but it must be considered to be a part of the patients treatment plan that is created during the evaluation. This is up to the DPT.
MPT does not specialize in pediatric care, therefore, we can only see Children who are ____ years of age or older.
8 Years of age.
-If the Child is under 8 years of age we are to redirect to a pediatric specialist.
Does MPT Provide Functional Capacity Exams (FCE)?
No
Can Marketplace providers request MRIs for our patients?
No, PTs cannot request an MRI on behalf of the patient. The treating therapist can only recommend an MRI if they deem it necessary. This is MPT Protocol/ Policy.
Are Doctors of PT able to fill out disability forms for patients?
No, Patients must take any disability documentation to be filled out by their primary Medical Dr.
