Lines of Latitude are called Parallels.
How are lines of latitude measured?
Lines of latitude are measured from north to south from the Equator (0°).
What are lines of longitude called?
Lines of longitude are called Meridian.
How are lines of longitude measured?
Lines of longitude are measured from east to west from the Prime Meridian (0°).
How is longitude related to time zones?
Longitude is related to time zones because every 15° of longitude is a time zone.
