What are lines of latitude?

Lines of latitude are imaginary lines going from East to West. They are measured in degrees North or South of the Equator.

Flattenable surface, conic surface and cylindrical surface.

Name 5 things that Ordnance Survey maps use:

They use a key, they also show land use and relief (the terrain of the land), they use co-ordinates to pin-point locations on the map, they have northings and eastings and they are only in the United Kingdom.
