What can you see in a photo that you can’t on a map?
Weather, environment (grass, flowers etc.)
What can you see on a map that you can’t in a photo?
Bird’s Eye View, roads, rivers and more land covered.
What is more useful for going for a walk in that area and why?
Map because:
you can plan routes
see where rivers and roads are
know the entire area and where to go

- A title - Place and Type of Map
- Symbols - To make things clear and uncluttered
- A key - meaning of symbols
- A North Point - Know directions to get to places
- A scale - To know sizes and distances of and between areas
- A grid with coordinates - To pinpoint locations accurately.

Why do we need to use map symbols?
To make maps clearer, easier to read and more spaced out.
