What is Plywood?

A

a laminated material made from sheets of wood called
plies, laminates or
veneers and are glued together, usually in an odd number of layers to form a strong board

What is a Particle Board

A

made from sawdust, wood shavings,
offcuts, thinnings and trimmings from pine forests and has uniform strength because there is no general grain direction.

What is Hardboard/Fibreboard

A

Hardboard (for example, Masonite) is high-density fibreboard, made in Australia from offcuts and trimmings from eucalyptus trees. similar to particle board, except that natural resins
in the timber do all the bonding. Resins are not added to hardboards.
