PRE-MANEUVER CHECKLIST
Landing Configuration
Back pressure until airspeed is 45 KIAS
Adjust pitch & power (approx. 2000 RPM) to maintain airspeed and altitude
Adjust trim to relieve control pressures
Adjust power to Max
Retract and announce flaps below VFE (85)

PRE-MANEUVER CHECKLIST
Landing Configuration
@ 60 KIAS begin a stabilized descent
Reduce power to idle
Gradually increase pitch to maintain level flight while reducing airspeed
Recognize and announce impending stall Recover
Simultaneously reduce pitch below the horizon and increase power to full
Carb Heat off
Flaps to 20°
Accelerate to VX (54)
Establish positive rate of climb
Set flaps to 10° while maintaining a positive rate of climb
Accelerate to VY (67) while establishing a positive rate of climb
Set flaps to 0° and pitch for level flight
CRUISE CHECKLIST.
Power-On Stall
Reduce power to 1500 RPM.
Carb Heat on
While maintaining altitude, slow to 55 KIAS
Set power to full
Carb Heat off
Increase pitch to reduce airspeed
Recognize stall
Recover
Reduce the angle of attack
Accelerate to VX (54)
Positive rate of climb
Accelerate to and announce VY (67) while maintaining a positive rate of climb. Level off at sufficient altitude
CRUISE CHECKLIST.
