Nose High Unusual Attitude
Autopilot-Disengage
Pitch - Lower
Thrust- TO
Bank - if nose down pressure not achieving nose down pitch rate, roll airplane to control pitch
Nose Low attitude
Autopilot- Disengage
Bank - Roll level
Thrust- Adjust
SPEED BRAKE- as necessary
Pitch- after wings level, raise to horizon
Recovery-
thrust-adjust
SPEED BRAKE - Retract
Stall Recovery
Stall Indication - “Stall”
Call out each Step
Autopilot - Disengage
Pitch - Lower
Wings- Level
Thrust - TO
Speedbrake- retract
After Recovery
Return to normal flight path, call for QRH- INADVERTENT STALL
EGPWS Escape
Caution- adjust path to eliminate caution
Warning-
GA - Press
Thrust - TO
Pitch - climb
Speed brake- retract
Flaps/Gear - retract on schedule
Climb to safe altitude
TCAS Resolution
Simultaneously
Autopilot- Disconnect
Thrust - As required
Lateral Path- comply with ATC
Vertical path- comply with TCAS commands
Advise ATC - “TCAS RA”
Windshear Escape
If “CAUTION WINDSHEAR”
- evaluate conditions and decide if escape is necessary. If CAUTION associated with convective weather, immediate escape required
If Red Windshear Warning, immediate Escape
Escape:
Simultaneously:
Pitch- increase to arrest descent
GA- Press
Thrust Levers- TO
Bank- Level, unless terrain is factor
SPEEDBRAKE- retract
Do not alter gear/flaps until obstacle clear
Call for Windshear QRH
Emergency Descent Maneuver
Autopilot- Disconnect
Thrust Levers - Idle
SPEEDBRAKE- extend
Pitch - 20 degrees down
Max Airspeed- Mmo
PAX OXY - ON
XLS with enter EDM if cabin is above 14500, consider waiting to disconnect Autopilot until throttle and speedbrakes are set.
