Are the outcomes the business sets out to achieve.
What does a human resource manager do?
A human resource manager is used for recruitment of staff, training and development, as well as workplace safety.
What is meant by management by objectives?
A process of setting goals using the SMART principle that relate to the employee’s key areas of responsibility.
What is the hierarchy of needs?
Maslow’s hierarchy is focused on the belief that there is five needs which are arranged based on importance; physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, self-esteem needs and self actualisation.
What is the goal setting theory?
Locke and Latham’s goal setting theory focuses on the idea that setting clear goals and attaining the goals provides motivation for employees.
What is the four drive theory?
Lawrence and Nohria’s theory identified that there are four basic motivational needs which are acquire, bond, defend and comprehend.
What ways can motivate employees?
