Autocratic

- Quick decision making, no time waste, ensures everything is run smoothly.
Paternalistic
Managers do what they think is best but genuinely want workers to be happy, prioritize needs when making decisions. Does not allow decision-making.
- While workers are young/inexperienced, contributes to a good working env.
- May be dissatisfied because of the lack of power/influence, dependency, stifle creativity.
Democratic
Encourages active participation from workers, and two-way communication.
-High engagement, creativity, morale
- inefficient, time-wise, quick decision making, some issues are sensitive.
Laissez-Faire
Leaves the decision-making to the work force, with lots of two-way communication. Broad criteria/limits established.
-Flexibility and Adaptability, Employee Motivation and Satisfaction, Creativity and Innovation
-Lack of Direction and Coordination, Risk of Poor Performance and Accountability
