Condition
Records
Condition Records are pricing elements related to a Material.
Examples: Net Price, Freight, etc.
Cost Element
Corresponds to a cost-relevant item in the chart of accounts. It
represents the nature of cost.
Material Master
Material Master is the main record for a material used in SAP. It
represents core information about the business—such as
materials, customers, suppliers, and the relationships between
them. Each of these domains of master data represents
information that is needed across different business processes,
across business units, and applications. In essence, master data
defines an enterprise.
Purchasing Info
Records (PIR)
In the standard SAP purchasing info record is maintained as a
source of information for Purchasing. It contains some of the
information from material master and some of the information
related to its supplier/vendor.
Source List
The Source List defines a source of supply as “fixed vendor” at
Plant level. Such sources count as preferred sources over a
certain period of time
Material
Material is any item Alcon buys, sells, warehouses, or produces.
Warehouse staff typically perform goods receipts
Standard Cost
