- Gametes at required
- offspring are genetically different
- examples include- dogs, cats, mammals, etc.
- pros- you get genetically different offspring, promotes survival , removes bad genes from the population.
- cons- Requires two parents, takes time/ energy, can prevent favourable genes being passed down, produces fewer offspring.

Asexual reproduction info-
A
- Gametes aren’t required
- Genetically identical
- Examples include- Marbled crabs, whiptail lizards, captive sharks, etc.
- pros- Good for animals that stay in one place, numerous offspring, can be produced without lots of energy/time being used up.
- cons- there’s a lack of genetic diversity, all share the same weaknesses.
