What is androgen-binding globulin?

A

A protein that binds to testosterone and keeps it in seminiferous tubules. When testosterone is released, 5a reductase can cause conversion of T to DHT.

What is TDS?

A

Testicular dysgenesis syndrome.

Disorder characterised by presence of cyptorchidism, hypospadias and TGCC (testicular germ cell cancer) and decreased semen quality.
