What is the mechanism to create and secrete a protein

A gene that has instructions for a protein is transcribed into mRNA, many copies of the mRNA I made and exit via the nuclear envelope pores. It attaches to the ribosome and the ribosome translates the mRNA and synthesises a protein. The protein is then pinched of by vesicles and travel towards the Golgi apparatus where it is modified for release. Vesicles fro the Golgi apparatus then pinch of the protein and move towards the plasma membrane where it fuses and exits the cell membrane by exocytosis.
