State the passage-way the air goes through the lungs.
A
mouth/nose –> pharynx –(epiglottis & larynx–> trachea –> left or right bronchus –> bronchioles –> alveoli.

What is the function of alveoli?
A
Alveoli performs gas exchange. This is from diffusion when a high concentrated area of oxygen is moved to a low concentration area, for example, the blood stream - pulmonary vein.
