Critical Learning #1 - Take time to observe the wonders of nature
This lesson remind us to slow down and really observe nature closely. Example by watching an ant colony work we can see that they help each other and take on different jobs. Just because you are not in charge does not mean you are not important.
Critical learning #2 - Think Like a scientist
Scientists must be patient and persistent. They have to take as much time as is needed to thoroughly understand and explain an observation. Please don’t randomly guess. Also they must be detail and data oriented. If you feel something you must be able to explain this feeling. Always ask yourself at least 2 questions. Conduct repeated trials, If you get the same result each time you may have made a great discovery.

Prior preparation prevents poor performance. Being prepared not only helps you do better but it reduces stress.
CL#4. I will never look at things the same way again
The details in life are amazing. Remember when we learned about the microscope and how a tree leaf had thousands of cells and inside each cell there are at least 10 organelles. Wow!! Also each human has over 30 trillion cells. That’s right…30 trillion
CL#5. I will stay curious all my life
Curiosity makes life exciting!! Please don’t get bored with life.
CL#6. It is up to each person to change their lifestyle to protect each other and the natural world
Take personal responsibility. Michael Jackson’s “Man in the mirror song”. Look for ways that you can change and take the first step. If we wait for others to change, it may never happen.
