Define resilience
Is the ability to cope with and adapt to life stressors and consequently ‘bounce back’ from a time of stress to store positive mental functioning

- An ‘adequate diet’ refers to the extent to which our daily food intake contains a variety of foods from different food groups as well as adequate water intake
- All food have some impact on our mental wellbeing due to the vitamins and mineral they contain and the effect that these have on our body and brain functioning

- Cognitive behavioural strategies are methods where there is an attempt made to change negative thoughts and feelings to pave the way for behaviours that promote good mental health.
- They may involve cognitive restructuring, where a person changes the way in which they view their problem to adopt a more realistic, positive and rational outlook to better address the issue
